The revolutionary fully portable P backs are Phase One's new generation of digital backs for the professional photographer. For the first time you are able to benefit from the latest digital technology without being connected to a computer or external hard drive.

Phase One's 22 mega-pixel P 25 and its twin the 16 mega-pixel P 20 ensures that you have the freedom to work anywhere you want: on location or in the studio.

P 25 and P 20 fit the most commonly used medium format and large format cameras. For further info: Camera compatibility. P 25 and P 20 integrate perfectly into your current workflow allowing you to keep your existing camera equipment. P uses Compact Flash™ or Microdrive™ as storage. However, you can also connect P to a computer through FireWire®.

Shooting with Phase One's P-series comes extremely close to working with film. Only now you also have the immediate feedback from the 2.2" LCD on the back of the camera, numerous creative opportunities and incredible image quality. P 25 has a capture rate of 35 per minute, whereas P 20 can deliver up to 45 captures per minute.

Easy operation in regards to navigating the camera and capture menus on the LCD screen
High resolution LCD screen with bright colors and high contrast enabling use in direct sunlight
You can set ISO, white balance and file format on the back and after capture you can preview, browse, zoom and delete images. Also, exposure warning and histogram information is available to you while shooting. When you return to the studio all images are loaded into Phase One's Capture One RAW workflow software for better preview and further editing. Capture One supports RAW files from Phase One camera backs as well as a wide range of DSLR cameras. Among those: Canon®, Nikon®, Fuji®, Olympus® and Pentax®.

IIQ RAW TECHNOLOGY
Intelligent Image Quality RAW, or IIQ RAW, is the name of Phase One's brand new patent-pending RAW file format. IIQ RAW is a compact, completely lossless file format that reduces the size of you RAW files. This way you can fit more images onto the memory card and the camera will not buffer durig the shoot.
